Swiss Life now uses the Norm energy certificate for the conclusion of green mortgages

Norm provides an intuitive web app that allows building data including floor plans, photos, and electricity and heating bills to be submitted. From this data, a 3D model of the building is created and an energy analysis is carried out by an energy expert. The result is presented in an easily understandable online energy certificate, showing the energy efficiency class and CO₂ emissions, as well as the condition of the individual components.

This process is completely digital, without the need for an on-site inspection by an expert. Therefore, Norm can greatly reduce processing time and deliver the energy certificate in 2-3 weeks.

Swiss Life simplifies the process for a green mortgage

Swiss Life uses Norm's solution to simplify the process of obtaining an energy certificate and to reduce the effort required to create it. “When fixing the interest rate, the energy certificate must already be available. But often there is not enough time to get a GEAK certificate in time. With the collaboration with Norm, a faster and cheaper alternative is offered,” explains Nora Mahrer, Project Manager Mortgages at Swiss Life.
